HABC LEVEL 2 EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK-UK

QUALIFICATION OVERVIEW:

The Level 2 International Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is a qualification aimed at providing learners with the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to support emergency first aid in the workplace.
The qualification covers knowledge such as the roles and responsibilities of a first aider and how to assess and incident. It also covers first aid skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), providing first aid to a casualty who is choking and dealing with external bleeding and shock.
Upon completion, this qualification certificate is valid for a period of 3 years, after which learners are expected to requalify. It is also recommended that annual refresher training takes place to ensure knowledge and skills are maintained.

UK CERTIFIED LEVEL 2 AWARD IN EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK

OBJECTIVES:

The qualification covers a range of essential emergency first aid topics including the role and responsibilities of a first aider, recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness, managing unconscious casualties, cardiopulmonary (CPR) and responding to incidents, such as choking or external bleeding.

WHO NEED THIS QUALIFICATION:

Designed for learners wishing to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to provide appropriate care and manage life threatening conditions, minor illness and injuries. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.

COURSE DURATION: 01 DAYS

CERTIFICATE VALIDITY: 03 YEARS

UK CERTIFIED LEVEL 3 AWARD IN FIRST AID AT WORK

OBJECTIVES:

Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis and more.

WHO NEED THIS QUALIFICATION:

This qualification has been developed for those already working, or preparing to work, in the industry and who have been identified in the company’s first aid risk assessment as being required to provide first aid in the workplace.

CERTIFICATE VALIDITY: 03 YEARS

UK CERTIFIED LEVEL 3 AWARD IN PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID

OBJECTIVES:

Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, including: assessing an emergency situation, dealing with an unresponsive infant or child, CPR, choking, meningitis, head and spinal injuries, anaphylaxis, asthma and more.

WHO NEED THIS QUALIFICATION:

This qualification is designed to provide learners with the first aid skills they require when working in an environment with children. The Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid is suitable for learners who are responsible for children. Learners will become familiar and react according to an emergency situation with a child or infant.
